AC is a Paris based association founded at the spring of 2002 in order to facilitate the mobility of musicians throughout Europe, among others between Western and Central/Eastern Europe.

AC has so far organised Czech and Hungarian tours for French bands, French tours for Czech bands, Czech tours for Hungarian bands, Hungarian tours for Czech bands, etc., extending its scope permanently (with collaboration with bands from Russia, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Germany, England etc., and sending bands as far as Japan...

Through its widespread contacts, AC has played a significant role in the participation of some Czech artists in Bohemia Magica, the Czech season organised in France by the AFAA in 2002, enabling young talented musicians to play at major festivals (Festival d'Ile de France, Festival de Saint-Denis, etc.).

AC is also the organiser of the international music festival which took place in Prague and Brno (CZ) in October 2003.

Finally, part of AC's activities are oriented towards ethnomusicological research, especially on traditional African music from West-Africa (Burkina Faso, Ghana...).

AC is getting increasingly involved in the musical life of Central and Eastern Europe, making it one of the organisational nodes in the region and a relay for many actors of the musical world, either in Western or in Central and Eastern Europe.
